This refreshing watermelon-sorbet is a great summer dessert. It is quick and easy to make. If you prefer a pure watermelon taste, do not add any rosewater because it overpowers the relatively subtle watermelon aroma. However, I think that rosewater does nicely compliment watermelon and really liked the combination.
1/2 small watermelon
Juice of 1 lime
1/3 cup simple syrup
Optional: 1 teaspoon rosewater
1.) Cut the watermelon into small pieces and freeze them for a few hours.
2.) Put watermelon, lime juice and simple syrup into a blender and blend until smooth.
3.) Optional: Stir in the rosewater.
4.) Freeze for at least 2 more hours.
